Trauma Certified, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Kaylee Curilla is a trauma certified, licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Curilla values working with anyone who wants to learn more about themselves and is craving more meaningful and satisfying relationships. She has experience working with late adolescents and adults with a wide array of concerns, as well as specialized training in working with the impacts of traumatic experiences, disordered eating, and relationship difficulties. She also has special interests in working with social anxiety, identity development, emotional distress (including suicidal ideation), and attachment-related difficulties. Prior to private practice, she has provided therapy in a variety of settings including community mental health, college counseling, and forensic settings.
Dr. Curilla’s view of therapy tends to be relationally-oriented, meaning that she pays particular attention to the importance of current and past relationships, how individuals interact in relationships, and how relationships may impact the view of the self. She believes that therapy should be a collaborative process and strongly believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship in helping to build more fulfilling connections.
Dr. Curilla completed her doctorate degree at Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Southern Illinois University’s Counseling and Psychological Services Center where she specialized in eating disorders and trauma, and she completed her post-doctoral residency at Duquesne University’s Counseling and Wellbeing Center.
